Surf - Timer provides you with a centralized account system:
- Access to the kiosk can be either free or controlled through accounts. An account can
take the form of a generated Access Code or of a User Name and Password selected by the
user.
- A user can use the same account at any of your kiosks.
- An account can be generated by the kiosk owner and sold as a card, or automatically
generated at the kiosk when a credit card payment or cash payment is made. If a payment is
made while a session is in process, the payment is used to recharge the account in use.
- Access Codes can be stored on magnetic cards. When the user swipes the card, the balance
is automatically retrieved from the database server.
- Accounts can be created so that the balance is reset to a specified number of minutes
daily.
- An account can be created with either a specific expiry date or with a number of days
for which it will be valid from the first time it is first used.
- You may also choose not to use accounts. In that case unused balance can not be used at
a future date.
